CSR Activities

At TEIKOKU, we establish our business activities in close contact with the local community as a "good corporate citizen", and we develop a wide range of activities towards realizing a more affluent and healthy society.
In addition, we also strive to deepen society's understanding of our company, for example, through factory tours.

2025 Activity Report

Sports - Support Company Contract with the Professional Baseball Team “Hanshin Tigers”

On April 1, we have signed a support company contract with Hanshin Tigers.
The home field of the team is located in Hyogo Prefecture, where we are headquartered. We will make further contributions to the revitalization of local communities through sports promotion.

In addition, a billboard with our name on it is posted on the first-base infield fence of Hanshin Koshien Stadium, home of the Hanshin Tigers, to further increase our company's recognition.

2024 Activity Report

Factory Tour for Shareholders

On October 16, we held our 7th factory tour for shareholders.
We received applications from as many as 170 shareholders this year, and after a strict lottery, 28 shareholders were selected and joined the tour. Some of them traveled from as far away as Tokyo and Hiroshima Prefecture.
We will continue our efforts to turn everyone into a fan shareholder of our company.

Factory Work Experience for Junior High School Students

From November 11 to November 15, we hosted two students from Shingu Junior High School as part of our contribution to the local community. This work experience program has been held since 1998 for second-year junior high school students in Hyogo Prefecture.

Participation in the 8th “Tatsuno Workers”

Participation in the 8th “Tatsuno Workers”

On December 17, the 8th Tatsuno Workers event was held at Shingu Elementary School, and our company participated as instructors. Tatsuno Workers is a work experience program for elementary school students organized by the Tatsuno Young Entrepreneurs Group.
This time, 8 companies based in Tatsuno City served as instructors and offered work experience to fifth graders from six elementary schools in Shingu Town.
We provided hands-on experience in assembling and operating of miniature pumps.

Sports - Mountain Biking: Urara Kawaguchi

As part of our contribution to the local community, we have signed a sponsorship contract with Urara Kawaguchi, a mountain biker from Tatsuno City.
In 2024, she was successfully selected as a representative athlete for the Paris Olympics. She boldly took on the challenge in the women's mountain bike cross-country final held at Elancourt Hill.
Although she struggled with the short two-month preparation period, she found it to be a very meaningful opportunity. She will actively participate in overseas races and make systematic efforts to win a slot in the next Los Angeles Olympics. We look forward to her continued success in the future.

2023 Activity Report

Donation to the Disaster Area of 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the victims of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
We have decided to donate 5 million yen through the Hyogo Prefecture 2024 Noto Earthquake Relief Fund Committee to be used for the victim relief and for the reconstruction of the affected areas.
We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.

Second Place - 16th Self-Defense Firefighting Competition (Fire Extinguisher Category)

On 16 November, “16th Self-Defense Firefighting Competition” organized by the Tatsuno Fire Protection Association was held at the Ibogawa Seseragi Park, with two of our employees taking part as competitors in the fire extinguisher category.
The competition involved shouting "Fire!” and then carrying a model of an injured person on a simple stretcher, followed by extinguishing the fire with a bucket and a fire extinguisher. Two of our employees successfully showed the results of their daily training and won the second place!

Fire Prevention Parade - Shingu Nursery School, Teikoku Head Office

On 14 November, approximately 70 members from the children's firefighting club of Shingu nursery school marched from their school to our head office. They performed the “Fire Prevention Song” in the company's car park, and we took commemorative photos.
We enjoyed interacting with the children, handing out tissues and taking photos.
We will continue to participate in community activities.

Sports - Volleyball: Teikoku Electric Special Match

Since December 2019, we have signed a sponsorship contract with Victorina Himeji, a women's volleyball team based in Himeji City.
On 28 October, “Teikoku Electric Special Match” was held at the Tatsuno Municipal Gymnasium between Victorina Himeji and Ohno Sekiyu Hiroshima Oilers.
With enthusiastic support from the locals, Victorina Himeji won the best of 5 sets at 3-0. In between the sets there were several fun activities such as "Bowling Serve Challenge" and photo sessions, in which our employees also participated.
We will continue to contribute to the revitalization of local communities through sports promotion.

Sports - Volleyball: Teikoku Electric Special Match

Since December 2019, we have signed a sponsorship contract with Victorina Himeji, a women's volleyball team based in Himeji City.
On 25 February, “Teikoku Electric Special Match” was held at the Victorina Wink Gymnasium between the home team, Victorina Himeji and JT Marvelous. After winning the first two sets in a row, they lost the third set, but due to Victorina's tenacity and the enthusiastic local support, they took the fourth set and won the match with the set count at 3-1.
We will make further contribution to the revitalization of local communities through sports promotion.

Sports - Mountain Biking: Urara Kawaguchi

As part of our contribution to the local community, we have signed a sponsorship contract with Urara Kawaguchi, a mountain biker from Tatsuno City.
This year, she won the XCC and XCO categories at the Coupe du Japon Shobudani in April, which was also a selection race for the Asian Games. After that, she actively participated in overseas races such as the World Cup in Germany and the US, however, due to fatigue from repeated overseas expeditions, she had to take a break from racing in the second half of the season.
She will graduate from university next season, and in a new environment, she will be working towards the Asian Games, the selection race for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Sports - Volleyball: Teikoku Electric Special Match

Since December 2019, we have signed a sponsorship contract with Victorina Himeji, a women's volleyball team based in Himeji City.
On 22 January, “Teikoku Electric Special Match” was held at the Victorina Wink Gymnasium between the home team and KUROBE Aqua Fairies. Both teams fought back and forth until the final set, however, Victorina Himeji came up just short, with the set count at 2-3.
We will make further contribution to the revitalization of local communities through sports promotion.

Blood Donations

Blood donation bus

For many years, we have invited the blood donation bus of the Hyogo Red Cross Blood Centre for blood donations by our employees.
In previous years, we have participated in the blood donation drive once or twice a year. However, in response to a request from the Blood Centre that blood donations were in short supply due to the spread of Covid-19, a total of 75 employees donated blood on three occasions, 19 May, 20 August and 21 January in FY2021.
We will continue to cooperate in blood donations as part of our CSR activities.

Sports - Mountain Biking: Urara Kawaguchi

We have signed a sponsorship contract with Urara Kawaguchi, a mountain biker from Tatsuno City.
This year, she actively participated in overseas races, finishing 34th in the women's U23 class at the MTB World Championships in Italy on 28 Aug and 23rd at the 2021 MTB World Cup in Switzerland on 5 Sep. In Japan, she won the XCE women's U23 class at the National Road Race Championships on 23 Oct. She then won the women's elite class in both categories at the Mountain Bike National Championships XCE/XCC on 6-7 Nov. She also won the Mountain Bike National Championships XCO on 21 Nov, winning four national titles.
She will now compete in various domestic and international races with the aim of competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
