Slurry (SG, XG Type)

Both XG type and SG type of canned motor pumps can handle slurry with relatively large amount of solids.
These pump types are designed with a gas chamber between pump and motor to keep the process liquid separate from motor, enabling troublefree pumping of slurries.

Features

■ IDEAL FOR HANDLING SLURRY LIQUIDS

A gas chamber between vertical pump and motor prevents the process liquid from contacting the mechanical seal directly.
It is, therefore, excellent for handling high solid concentration slurry liquids and heat-sensitive polymerizable liquids.

■ TWO TYPES OF VARIATIONS AVAILABLE (XG TYPE ＆ SG TYPE)

XG type: sealing clean liquid in the motor chamber with an auxiliary circuit that lubricates the bearings.
SG type: external flush line is used for lubricating the bearing and cooling the motor.
SG type is also reasonably priced and easy to handle because of a simpler construction compared to XG type.

■ OPTION TO INCREASE WEAR RESISTANCE

For severe abrasive conditions surface hardening treatment of the stainless steel material of the wetted parts can be provided.
